Frontend Developer React/JavaScript

Join our prestigious FinTech client, and work on a Greenfield project with the newest technologies!

The position is in a hybrid model- 3 days from the office in the city center of Warsaw.

Details on team/project information:

The candidate will be in a front-office role in the Systematic Trading Strategies Engineering team to develop complex indices across derivatives including FX, Commodities, Rates, and Single Stock.

The candidate will be a dedicated UI developer in a dynamic team of experienced full-stack developers.

The low-latency system trades significant volumes daily and is critical to the performance of the business.

 Must have experience/skills:

Minimum of 4 years of commercial frontend development experience

A solid understanding of React JS (Hooks/context API) and standard Javascript

Knowledge of modern CSS techniques and tools (css-in-js/SCSS)

Sound programming principles (design patterns, unit testing with Jest, etc.)

Working knowledge of modern frontend workflows, package managers (npm), and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab)

Nice to have experience/skills:

Ag-grid library experience

Appreciation and understanding of good UX principles

Experience with Cypress
