Project Manager

1. Description of Project/Procedure Context:

We provide strategic consulting and project management services to our DB partners, particularly the Traveler Information (SR) unit. Our goal is to help develop and maintain digital products that enhance the complete travel experience, balancing customer needs with business requirements. We design, develop, and operate holistic solutions for travelers with and for our DB partners.

2. Subject Matter of the Contract:

The service provider is required to deliver the following project management and consulting services:

• Advise the client on the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans in alignment with client requirements.

• Ensure compliance with project management methodologies and best practices.

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in cooperation with management and stakeholders.

• Identify and manage project dependencies, critical paths, and project risks, developing contingency plans.

• Manage resource requirements for personnel, equipment, and materials.

• Provide effective communication with stakeholder groups and project team members, ensuring transparency and commitment to project goals.

• Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for client and senior management.

• Lead and moderate technical project meetings, prepare agendas, and document activities.

• Drive project success by implementing quality measures and ensuring adherence to objectives.

• Support the client in the strategic management of project resources.

3. Requirements Profile for External Specialists

The following mandatory requirements must be fulfilled by the service provider:

Experience managing complex software development projects

(>50 members), with at least 2 projects in software architecture and development.

10 years of:

Proven active experience with API architecture, microservices, and cloud environments (AWS with Docker). 10 years

Risk & Opportunity

Management

Knowledge in identifying risks and opportunities, evaluating proposed solutions, and managing project dependencies. 

Industry Expertise Experience in managing projects for traveler information systems.

Proven experience managing technical operations, specifically with Prometheus and Grafana. 

Cloud Technologies Hands-on experience in managing CI/CD with GitLab in cloud environments (AWS). 

Technical Target Requirements (10 years of experience):

The following target requirements will be considered in the evaluation of proposals:

Database Expertise Experience with PostgresDB, Redis, and MongoDB.

Streaming Architecture (Kafka & Kubernetes).

Experience with streaming architecture using Kafka and Kubernetes. 

Continuous Integration & Delivery (CI/CD)

Experience with CI/CD using SonarQube and GitLab CI.

Team Leadership Proven experience in leading and managing Scrum teams. 

Knowledge of software development processes and methodologies.
