Optimize Freight Logistics: Lead Backend Development in a High-Impact Network Application

This project focuses on developing backend components for a network application within the freight transport logistics sector, utilizing statistical and mathematical methods for optimization and data analytics.

Services Required:

  • Implementation of procedures and components for capacity planning using C# / .NET Core.
  • Development of database access layers with Microsoft Entity Framework Core.
  • Fixing errors identified during testing phases.
  • Documentation of developed components.

Project Details:

  • Location: Primarily Frankfurt am Main, Germany, with a possibility of remote work.
  • Service Provision: The contractor will operate independently and self-organize within an interdisciplinary team, using Agile methodologies.

Technical Requirements:

  • Experience: At least five years in project-related work, specifically in freight transport logistics and software development.
  • Skills:
    • Expert knowledge in C# / .NET and web technologies.
    • Experience with Microsoft Entity Framework Core.
    • Familiarity with Azure DevOps for project management.
    • Competency in SQL and working with various databases (e.g., MS-SQL, PostgreSQL).
    • Experience with mathematical optimization solvers (e.g., Gurobi, Cplex).
    • Knowledge of code analysis tools (e.g., Sonar, StyleCop).
