Java Software Engineer

Time zone: Participating in rotating 24x7 shifts to support developed products.

What You’ll Do

As a Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and developing innovative solutions that drive the company's business. Your contributions will shape the future of digital commerce, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing robust, scalable, and high-performance software solutions.
  • Writing clean, elegant, and efficient code while adhering to best practices.
  • Leading efforts in continuous integration, continuous delivery, cloud migration, and test-driven development.
  • Utilizing modern containerization and cloud technologies to enhance system reliability and scalability.
  • Conducting peer code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring high-quality releases.
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams in an agile SCRUM environment.
  • Supporting production applications, including troubleshooting and enhancing performance.
  • Driving build and release processes, ensuring smooth deployment to production environments.
  • Staying ahead of industry trends and applying innovative solutions to architectural challenges.
  • Participating in rotating 24x7 shifts to support developed products.
 Skills Required:
  •  Java & Spring Boot – Strong experience in developing robust backend applications.
  • Cucumber & Automated Testing – Hands-on experience in test automation and quality assurance.
  •  Kafka & Messaging Middleware – Expertise in event-driven architectures and real-time data processing.
  •  Database Expertise – Experience with Spanner, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, or similar databases.
  •  Kubernetes & Containerization – Familiarity with container orchestration using Docker & Kubernetes.
  •  RESTful Services & API Development – Deep knowledge of REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML.
  •  Cloud Computing (AWS/GCP) – Hands-on experience with cloud-based solutions and architecture.
  •  CI/CD & DevOps Practices – Experience in modern development pipelines, version control, and deployment automation.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Knowledge of additional programming languages such as Python, React, JavaScript, or C#.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean).
  • Familiarity with cloud security best practices.
