Supply Chain Specialist
This role supports the management and operation of supply chain compliance programs.ensuring smooth operation of critical compliance activities and continued process improvementto meet compliance, efficiency, and productivity expectations. The position focuses on SupplyChain ESG compliance and providing support for legal, regulatory, and customer compliancerequirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The role covers all Supply Chain processes and compliance aspects pertaining to:
• Support on Supply Chain’s legal, regulatory, and customer compliance requirements, including:
ESG risk assessments, risk mitigation, and support for other regulatory requirements (eg, Conflict Minerals, UFLPA)
• Implement SCM Compliance polices, performance metrics, and operating framework to meet Supply Chain’s legal, regulatory, and customer compliance requirements and drive Supply Chain
Sustainability and Ethical Procurement Agenda
• Assist in implementing Supply Chain Management Compliance policies and ESG riskmanagement frameworks through engagement with suppliers and category teams, and increasing and optimizing the adoption of, and interaction with, risk assessment systems/tools
• Upskill on and optimize the use of ESG risk assessment tools and platforms, ensuring data accuracy, process optimisation and data analysis to provide actionable insights for the compliance program decision-making
• Support ESG risk mitigation through supplier corrective action plan assignments andmonitoring
• Help develop and maintain ESG risk assessment documentation and processes to expand and optimize the ESG risk assessment program output
• Contribute to stakeholder reports by preparing communications materials and supporting analytics
• Perform both assigned tasks and self-directed work under guidance from program leadership, providing essential support to ensure the effective operation of the supply chain ESG compliance programs
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
• Third Level Degree in Business or related discipline desired
• Supply Chain management experience, including focus on SCM Compliance topics (especially Human Rights & Environment)
• Ability to analyse and understand complex datasets and distill information to drive the process improvements
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work on multiple initiatives at the same time
• Accurate, analytical, and process-driven way of working
• Attention to detail and ability to work on own initiativeare essential
• Natural self-starter and problem solver
• Comfortable working in a matrixed organization with various direct and dotted line reporting structures above and below
• Experience working in a multi-national environment, dealing with Global Stakeholders
• Fluent English language in speech and writing
• Very good communication and presentation skills
• Proactive attitude, ability to work independently, and passion to learn
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across multiple teams
• Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel (e.g., Pivot Table/Filters/Formulas
Vlookup/If/Or/And/ Conditional formatting/Charts) and PowerPoint, including data visualization
