Public Policy Manager

A leading global tech platform in the travel and hospitality space is seeking a Public Policy Manager to support its government relations strategy across Central & Eastern Europe, with a specific focus on Hungary, Slovenia, Romania, and Ukraine.

🌍 About the Role

As a key member of a multi-skilled campaign team, you’ll play a central role in shaping and executing public policy strategy across the region. You will represent the company in discussions with government officials and stakeholders, helping build regulatory frameworks that support responsible tourism and platform innovation.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

Define policy goals and regional engagement strategy

Represent the company in conversations with government officials, policymakers, and regulators

Build and maintain relationships with local and national stakeholders

Partner with cross-functional teams including communications, legal, and community engagement

Provide strategic insights on political, legislative, and regulatory developments in CEE

✅ What We’re Looking For

7+ years of experience in public policy, government affairs, or regulatory roles

Proven experience working with political or regulatory stakeholders at the city, regional, and national levels

Deep knowledge of the CEE political landscape; experience with EU regulatory frameworks is a plus

Fluent in English and at least one CEE language (e.g. Hungarian, Romanian, Slovenian, Ukrainian)

Strong communicator with experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects

Passion for innovation, technology, and the future of travel and hospitality
