As they continue to grow across Europe, they’re looking for a Public Policy Manager to lead government relations and policy engagement across Hungary, Slovenia, Romania, and Ukraine. This is your chance to drive meaningful change in one of the most dynamic sectors of the digital economy.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a key member of a dynamic and multi-disciplinary campaign team, you will:
Define public policy goals and shape strategies for regulatory engagement across CEE markets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with national, regional, and local governments, elected officials, regulatory bodies, and other key stakeholders.
Serve as a trusted voice in conversations about tourism, urban development, and the digital economy.
Represent the company in public forums, stakeholder meetings, and policy discussions.
Collaborate with internal experts in community engagement, communications, and public affairs to support integrated campaign strategies.
Partner cross-functionally with global teams to align local initiatives with international policy objectives.
Track, analyse, and respond to political and regulatory developments that impact the business.
Help stakeholders understand the value of the collaborative economy and its contribution to sustainable tourism.
What We’re Looking For:
7+ years of experience navigating complex political or regulatory environments, ideally within the travel, technology, or urban policy sectors.
A strong understanding of the political landscape and legislative processes in Central and Eastern Europe; experience engaging at both the national and city level is essential.
Experience managing multifaceted projects involving numerous stakeholders.
Proven ability to balance detailed policy knowledge with big-picture strategy and execution.
A confident and articulate communicator – both written and verbal – with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
Fluency in English and at least one CEE language (e.g., Hungarian, Slovenian, Ukrainian, Czech, etc.).
Knowledge of EU regulatory processes is a strong plus.
