Junior HR Operations Specialist

We are looking for a Junior HR Operations Specialist to join our client’s international team, supporting HR processes and operations. In this role, you will handle inquiries related to HR policies, programs, and systems while guiding employees and managers in using HR tools. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your HR knowledge, gain experience with modern HR systems, and work in a dynamic, multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inquiries related to HR processes, policies, and systems using available resources such as FAQs, guidelines, and procedures.
- Support employees and managers in navigating HR systems and promote the use of self-service solutions.
- Provide professional and empathetic customer service while resolving complex or sensitive issues.
- Manage challenging conversations with customers who may be dissatisfied or unwilling to follow established processes.
- Prioritize tasks to meet agreed deadlines, ensuring high customer satisfaction and minimizing escalations.
- Collaborate with team members on case resolution and monitor progress while providing updates to service users.
- Maintain and update operational documentation and process guidelines.
- Identify root causes of recurring issues and suggest process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, including GDPR.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in HR or customer service; experience in shared service centers or call centers is a plus.
- Fluent Dutch and English (written and spoken).
- Basic understanding of HR processes and practices.
- Ability to navigate HR systems (experience with case management or employee data systems is an advantage).
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Strong problem-solving and active listening skills.
