We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client’s team and take ownership of the Invoice to Pay process at a regional level.

This role goes beyond traditional AP tasks, focusing on driving process improvements, ensuring compliance, and implementing standardized practices within the region. You will act as a key link between regional teams and global stakeholders, ensuring that processes are consistent, efficient, and adapted to local requirements.

As part of our client’s team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with Finance, Procurement, and other functions to deliver accuracy, control, and value through optimized and automated workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the deployment of the globalInvoice to Pay strategy within the region, adapting it to local business needs.
• Collaborate with regional stakeholders to drive compliance, adoption, and process improvements.
• Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track efficiency and identify areas for optimization.
• Represent the region in process standardization initiatives and support transformation projects, including automation and digital solutions.
• Maintain and update process and control documentation, ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Build and validate business cases for transformation initiatives and oversee their successful implementation.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align objectives and deliver a consistent, high-quality process experience.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience in Accounts Payable or similar financial processes, ideally in a regional or international environment.
• Strong understanding of procurement, finance workflows, and internal controls.
• Experience leading process improvement or transformation initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers.
• Analytical mindset with experience setting and tracking performance metrics.
• Familiarity with automation tools and digital transformation solutions is an advantage.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
