Financial Operations Analyst

We are looking for a Financial Operations Analyst to join our client's team in the Asset Management Operations department. This position is ideal for someone with approximately one year of experience in financial operations or a related field who is eager to advance their career in the investment funds and capital markets sector.
In this role, you will support key middle/back-office processes, including trade processing, settlements, reconciliations, and reporting. You will gain valuable exposure to a wide range of financial instruments and work closely with both internal teams and external partners in a dynamic, international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare regular financial reports for asset management clients and internal reporting purposes.
- Coordinate daily communication with depository and custody banks, brokerage houses, brokers, and accounting service providers.
- Support the trade confirmation process and ensure timely and accurate settlement of securities transactions.
- Provide transaction-related data for accounting and valuation services.
- Verify invoices for funds and portfolios and process related payments.
- Assist with reconciliation processes (cash accounts, securities accounts, corporate actions, and concluded transactions).
- Collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, risk officers, product managers, and middle/back-office teams to ensure efficient operations.
Qualifications & Skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Risk, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of capital markets and financial instruments (e.g., Equities, Options, Futures, Fixed Income, derivatives), including trade lifecycle and reconciliation processes.
- Around 1 year of experience in a similar role, ideally within fund administration, a brokerage house, or middle/back-office operations.
- Good Excel skills; knowledge of VBA or Power Query would be a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with experience in a multinational environment considered an advantage.
- Fluency in Polish and good command of English. Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
