Account Manager (m/w/d)
A great Account Manager is a trusted partner to customers – someone who understands the Austrian travel market inside out and turns that knowledge into real business impact. In this role, you’ll be the face of a leading travel technology company for a portfolio of mid-sized agencies and partners. You’ll build relationships that go beyond transactions, take full ownership of your accounts, and proactively identify growth opportunities. Location: Vienna
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
Own and manage a portfolio of mid-tier travel agency accounts in Austria, driving retention, growth, and profitability.
Develop and execute account plans that leverage deep knowledge of the Austrian travel market to deliver customer success and competitive advantage.
Act as the primary point of contact for customers, building strong relationships and proactively identifying new business opportunities.
Negotiate and renew contracts, ensuring alignment with Travelport’s commercial objectives and customer needs.
Operate as a self-starter – independently prioritizing, problem-solving, and mobilizing internal resources to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Requirements:
Deep understanding of the Austrian travel industry, including key players, market dynamics, and distribution trends.
Proven ability to work independently and take initiative – comfortable operating as a self-starter in a fast-paced environment.
Strong commercial acumen with experience in account management, contract negotiation, and driving revenue growth.
Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
