Project Manager - Procurement Initiatives
Role Overview
The Project Manager will lead procurement transformation initiatives, delivering projects across spend management, procurement platform implementation (Ariba, SAP), and data-driven spend reporting. This role partners with Procurement, IT, and Finance to enable integrated systems, actionable analytics, and sustainable process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end delivery of procurement and spend management projects, ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, and budget.
Coordinate cross-functional teams and serve as the primary liaison between business and technical stakeholders.
Lead or support implementation and integration of procurement platforms (Ariba, SAP, Concur, Icertis).
Oversee data integration, cleansing, and reporting to enable spend analytics, savings tracking, and compliance dashboards.
Drive change management, process improvements, training, and user adoption.
Track project performance, risks, KPIs, and stakeholder communications.
Required Experience & Skills
Proven experience managing procurement, spend management, or finance transformation projects.
Hands-on experience with Ariba, SAP (S/4HANA or ECC), and related procurement tools.
Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier onboarding, and contract management.
Experience with data integration (API/SFTP), data lakes, ETL, and spend analytics/reporting.
Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
PMP or equivalent certification.
Experience in biopharma or life sciences or other highly regulated industry.
Exposure to global procurement operations and multi-language environments.
10 + years of relevant experience
