On behalf of our client we are now looking for a Employee Relations Consultant. You will partner with leaders, HR, and legal stakeholders to manage complex employee relations matters across the Central Region, with a strong focus on Germany and Switzerland. The role includes case management, investigations, manager coaching, separation support, and participation in regional and international ER initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide ER support across the Central Region, primarily Germany and Switzerland.

• Advise on disciplinary actions, performance management, and employee terminations.

• Coach managers and employees on sensitive and complex workplace matters.

• Lead and support employee relations cases, grievances, and investigations.

• Partner with HRBPs, Legal, and Centers of Excellence on ER and employment law matters.

• Support reorganizations, M&A activities, and policy implementation.

• Manage employee separations, including settlement agreements.

• Support Works Council–related ER processes in Germany.

• Participate in regional and international ER projects.

Requirements

• Strong communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.

• Broad Employee Relations experience in a fast-paced environment.

• Expertise in German employment law; Swiss employment law knowledge preferred.

• Proven ability to manage conflict and drive practical solutions.

• Experience with reorganizations, M&A, investigations, and involuntary terminations.

• Ability to influence across functions and seniority levels.

• Comfort working in ambiguous, complex environments.

• Strong judgment, ethics, and attention to detail.

• Knowledge of and experience working with German Works Councils.
