HR Generalist (m/w/d)
About the Role
We are looking for an HR Generalist to join one of our global clients, a leading organization operating in a dynamic, international environment. This role sits within a shared services structure and focuses on delivering high-quality HR support to employees across the EMEA region. You will act as a first point of contact for HR-related queries, ensuring smooth HR operations while collaborating closely with various internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and managers across EMEA.
Provide support on HR policies, procedures, programs, and systems, including Workday and ServiceNow.
Manage and resolve employee inquiries while ensuring timely case resolution and excellent customer satisfaction.
Support regional and local HR projects, coordinating activities across multiple stakeholders.
Assist employees and managers with self-service HR tools and processes.
Support voluntary employee exit processes and guide managers through related procedures.
Handle first-level queries related to compensation, benefits, HR data management, and other employee lifecycle topics.
Maintain accurate case documentation and contribute to process improvements.
Requirements
Previous experience in HR, HR Shared Services, Employee Services, or a customer support environment.
Fluent German and English, both written and spoken (additional European languages are an advantage).
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service quality.
High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.
Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within an international team.
Experience working with HR systems such as Workday or ServiceNow is an advantage, as is previous experience in a Shared Services environment.
