Your Impact & Duties
Program Leadership: Lead strategic, cross-functional programs /projects across multiple R&D divisions, ensuring tight alignment with business priorities, execution clarity, and measurable outcomes. Work closely with product and technical staff to develop and track project milestones and schedules for many moving parts that need to come together.
Stakeholder Alignment: Partner with senior leadership to define program goals and track progress. Maintain transparent communication across engineering, product, and executive teams to foster shared ownership.
Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement by analyzing performance data, identifying friction points, and implementing scalable, pragmatic solutions to boost R&D speed and effectiveness.
Methodology & Governance: Design, refine, and institutionalize best practices for R&D planning and collaboration. Coach and enable teams to adopt new tools and agile methodologies.
Strategic Communication: Communicate insights, progress, and data-driven recommendations to executive leaders to inform strategic decision-making.
Skills & Experience
Leadership & Influence: Exceptional "influence without authority" skills, with the ability to lead change management, collaborate across organizational levels, and address diverse stakeholder interests.
Technical & Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of R&D methodologies, SDLC, CI/CD and experience working within a cybersecurity environment and a global SaaS company.
AI Fluency: AI-native mindset with hands-on experience working in an AI-first environment and utilizing AI tools.
Analytics & Data-Driven Thinking: Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to gather, interpret, and use data for process optimization and creative problem-solving.
Communication & Presentation: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex insights clearly to senior executives.
Pro-Active approach: Experience tracking and translating engineering discussions into actionable tasks and next steps.
Soft Skills & Mindset: A proactive self-starter with a high sense of ownership, accountability, flexibility to step outside of a comfort zone, and a strong "can-do" approach.
Tools: AI stack (Claude/Cursor/ AWS Quick suite), Jira admin, Asana, G-suite is a must. DataDog, Tableau - advantage.
Minimum Experience: 7+ years of experience as a Program Manager/Technical Project Manager within an R&D organisation.
Education
BA/BS degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent
2 years of experience as a practicing engineer in a software organization - advantage
