Responsibilities
Analyse business needs, define problem statements and perform root cause analysis.
Gather, elicit and prioritise functional and non-functional requirements.
Capture the business context, including problems, current state, desired future state objectives, and business needs from impacted user groups.
Facilitate definition and interpretation of business rules and requirements for solutions.
Prepare Epics and User Stories.
Ensure that requirements, epics and user stories are specified in a manner suitable for the intended audience and are clear and unambiguous.
Manage requirements through the project life cycle by prioritising requirements for development and testing.
Establish the potential impact of any requested changes to the business, process, or systems.
Review test plans, test strategies, test requirement extraction, and test cases provided by the testing team.
Review business analysis documentation, conduct peer reviews, and provide constructive feedback.
Assist with product initiatives and lead product improvements and development initiatives.
Analyse and handle defects from Regression Testing, SIT and UAT.
Assist in project delivery within specified timelines.
Support implementation of project, programme and portfolio management standards, tools and documentation.
Ensure that quality business analysis standards are met through effective implementation and use of approved processes and methodologies.
Facilitate workshops and focus groups to provide inputs on process analysis and high-level fit-gap assessments for a product or process.
Maintain awareness of projects in the portfolio, monitor progress and quality of business requirements capturing, and anticipate and manage relevant risks.
Lead the evolution of possible solution alternatives, considering gap resolution, impact on related functional areas, user acceptability, technical feasibility and efficiency.
Guide and plan configuration activities, including conference room pilots, and ensure resolution of requirement and solution design issues and queries.
Develop proposals by owning parts of proposal documents, providing inputs based on secondary research and case studies, contributing to solution design, conducting solution/product demonstrations and POC workshops, and preparing effort estimates.
Train end users and key users, prepare training materials for a smooth transition to new systems and processes, provide suggestions on problem statement articulation based on client discussions, define and document problems, and provide support in high-level solution creation and documentation.
