Technical Delivery Manager (Portfolio)
About the role:
We're looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to lead a portfolio of software delivery projects for our U.S.-based clients. This is a strategic leadership role combining delivery excellence, people management, client partnership, and commercial ownership.
As a Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end success of multiple client engagements—from building high-performing engineering teams to driving delivery, account growth, operational excellence, and long-term client relationships.
You'll work closely with executive stakeholders, engineering leaders, and cross-functional teams to ensure exceptional delivery while contributing directly to business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery Leadership:
Own end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of software development projects.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality expectations.
Manage project risks, dependencies, and escalations.
Continuously improve delivery processes and execution standards.
Client & Stakeholder Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for executive client stakeholders.
Build trusted long-term partnerships.
Lead strategic conversations around delivery, roadmap, and business priorities.
Ensure high client satisfaction and retention.
Account Growth:
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services.
Support business development initiatives within existing accounts.
Drive account profitability and Gross Profit Margin (GPM) targets.
People Leadership
Hire, develop, mentor, and retain high-performing delivery teams.
Conduct performance reviews and career development conversations.
Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Handle performance management when required.
Financial & Resource Management:
Manage project budgets and forecasts.
Optimize resource allocation across multiple engagements.
Monitor delivery health, utilization, and financial performance.
Operational Excellence:
Implement delivery best practices and scalable frameworks.
Drive continuous process improvements.
Promote AI-powered ways of working across delivery teams.
Required Qualifications:
Experience
10+ years of experience in Project Management.
Minimum 3 recent years in Technical Delivery or Program Management.
5+ years managing executive-level client relationships.
5+ years leading software engineering teams.
5+ years working in a software consultancy environment.
Technical Background
Previous hands-on experience in Software Development or QA.
Strong understanding of modern software delivery practices.
Experience delivering both greenfield products and legacy modernization initiatives.
Proficiency with Jira and Confluence.
Leadership
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Commercial mindset with experience growing client accounts.
Proven ability to make decisions under pressure and resolve conflicts.
Additional Requirements
Fluent English (written and spoken).
AI-forward mindset and curiosity about emerging technologies.
Willingness to travel to the U.S. up to 4–6 weeks annually.
