Verification, Validation & System Integration Engineer
Location: Leshem_Israel
Employment type: permanent
Work model: fully on-site
About The Client
Our client is an Israeli high-tech engineering company founded in 2008, specializing in advanced embedded systems, cybersecurity, AI/data intelligence, IoT, automotive technologies, and secure communications. The company develops and integrates complex hardware and software solutions, including real-time computer vision, cellular/satellite platforms, and custom full-stack systems.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled, multidisciplinary Verification & Validation (V&V) and System Integration Engineer to join our core System Engineering team. In this pivotal role, you will be the absolute professional authority for the project's functional testing, verification, and validation processes. You will own the entire lifecycle of integration planning—defining the V&V concept in the lab, configuring complex test scenarios, managing configurations, and ensuring system maturity.
Key Responsibilities
V&V Strategy & Matrix Management: Establish the overall validation concept, build, and manage the V&V matrix throughout development phases, ensuring every project requirement is mapped to a specific test level.
Lab Integration & Architecture: Design and build the integration plan within the lab environment, specifying which contents can exclusively be validated in-lab. Characterize labs, simulations, test equipment, and determine make/buy decisions for hardware/capabilities.
System Synchronization & Timing: Approve design timings and synchronizations across test systems, diving into high system resolutions to align system behavior with test process limitations.
Complex Scenario Design: Architect intricate system-level test scenarios for complex "System of Systems" environments.
Configuration & Lifecycle Management: Oversee configuration control of operational system versions, manage software freezing within PLM systems, and track what has been tested versus what remains outstanding.
Risk & Financial Management: Consolidate pricing proposals for testing/simulation infrastructures, evaluate REUSE factors, and manage technical risk mitigation processes throughout the project lifecycle.
Customer Facing & Delivery: Conduct technical reviews (reviews of what was written, tested, and missing), assess overall system readiness/maturity, and present final validation results directly to the customer prior to deployment or field trials.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, System Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
At least 5 years of experience in Software Development, System Integration, or System Testing within complex environments.
Proven experience in building V&V plans, integration concepts, and validation matrices.
Deep technical understanding of system synchronization, timing dependencies, and simulation-driven test environments.
Strong hands-on experience with configuration management tools and freezing versions within PLM/ALM structures.
Excellent technical leadership skills with the ability to lead effective reviews, navigate multi-tasking challenges, and sync with diverse multidisciplinary development groups.
High capacity for self-learning new, complex technical systems.
