Job Specification: Senior SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Consultant

Location: Warsaw, Poland (hybrid – minimum 2 days per week in the office)
Contract duration: 3 January 2027 – 30 June 2027
Working hours: 40 hours per week
Engagement type: Contract

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Consultant to support a Finance transformation programme and related planning, forecasting and reporting initiatives.

The consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing and optimising SAP Analytics Cloud solutions to support financial planning, forecasting and business reporting. The role combines strategic advisory responsibilities with hands-on configuration, implementation and solution architecture.

The successful candidate will work closely with Finance stakeholders, internal product teams and implementation partners to deliver scalable solutions aligned with business requirements and enterprise architecture standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of SAP Analytics Cloud planning and reporting solutions.

  • Advise business stakeholders and product teams on SAC capabilities, best practices and target solution design.

  • Design and configure SAC models, stories, planning processes, data actions, allocations and forecasting solutions.

  • Deliver financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting use cases.

  • Collaborate with SAP Datasphere, SAP BW and Finance teams to design and implement end-to-end data flows.

  • Translate business requirements into scalable solution designs and implementation roadmaps.

  • Drive solution architecture decisions within the SAC landscape, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.

  • Identify opportunities to optimise existing solutions, improve business value and increase user adoption.

  • Support testing, deployment and production readiness activities.

  • Provide technical guidance, mentoring and knowledge transfer to internal team members.

  • Collaborate with implementation partners and external consultants to ensure high-quality delivery.

  • Proactively identify risks, dependencies and opportunities for improvement across Finance planning and reporting processes.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in SAP Analytics and Planning.

  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud Planning and Reporting.

  • Proven experience designing and delivering budgeting, forecasting and financial planning solutions.

  • Practical experience with:

    • SAC Models and Stories

    • Data Actions and Allocations

    • Multi Actions

    • Predictive capabilities

  • Good understanding of SAP Datasphere, SAP BW and Finance reporting architectures.

  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders and leading requirements-gathering workshops.

  • Ability to combine architectural thinking with hands-on implementation and troubleshooting.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders and external implementation partners.
