Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing product risks including monitoring of credit and settlement limits, exception management, risk exposure analysis, and post-trade risk management processes.
• Support the analysis, monitoring, and reporting of the firm's credit exposures on derivatives such as swaps, options, futures, forwards, prime brokerage, and repurchase agreements including assessments of margins.
• Help identify exposures that exceed the firm’s risk appetite to counterparties and report to senior managers and colleagues.
• Recognize market specifics to assist in managing the firm's credit risk on a transactional level across derivatives & funding products.
• Identify and escalate issues related to data accuracy and quality.
• Take part in initiatives to identify opportunities for process improvements and develop methods to reduce risks, enhance controls, and improve communication.

Skills & Requirements:

• Entry-level position; 0-1 year of experience in a financial analytical role, credit risk management experience preferred.
• Understanding of derivatives products is advantageous.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Basic accounting or financial analysis skills.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Broad knowledge of GS's business.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Clear and diplomatic communication skills.
• Motivated team player with the ability to learn quickly and work independently.
