Senior Frontend Developer with React

Overview
Join our client, a leader in global financial markets, where we design and build highly scalable web platforms. These platforms enable access to the company’s vast array of content, portfolio analytics, risk, and execution services. As a Frontend Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in transforming client experiences and expanding our reach into new markets, driving innovative business models and new revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain web applications using primarily React and occasionally Angular.
  • Quickly adapt to and understand new codebases and applications.
  • Ensure high standards in server testing and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with a global team of 40-50 professionals to innovate and enhance application functionalities.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in building rich web applications using modern technologies.
  • Expertise in React (essential) and familiarity with Angular, TypeScript, CSS-in-JS, SSR, and Redux.
  • Proficiency in testing frameworks such as Jest, Enzyme, and Cypress for both unit and end-to-end testing.
  • Strong communication skills in English and ability to articulate ideas clearly.
  • Experience with clean coding practices and agile software development lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Knowledge of micro front ends, reactive programming (e.g., RxJS), and front-end build tools like Webpack.
  • A background in financial services or a similar fast-paced, tech-driven environment is advantageous.
