Overview:
We are seeking a Backend/Platform Developer to join a highly skilled team in Warsaw, supporting the Structured Notes business. This role is part of a global team structure, collaborating with colleagues in the US and APAC regions. The position requires strong English skills for effective communication in an international environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automation platforms for structured notes trading and issuance.
• Focus on backend development using Java microservices architecture.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless platform functionality and enhancements.
• Manage a balanced workload split between maintenance tasks and new feature development.
• Take ownership of the full value chain, providing diverse technical exposure and immediate impact on platform usage.

Technical Requirements:

• Proficiency in Java development (mandatory).
• Experience with Vertex and Jersey framework (Spring framework also acceptable).
• Familiarity with Kafka for communication between components.
• Knowledge of MongoDB and Elasticsearch for data storage.
• Occasional work with Python may be required.

• Work Environment: Office presence required a minimum of 3 days per week (flexibility to work 5 days if needed).
