About the Role:

Join the Java-Slang Integration (JSI) team as a Java/Scala Developer. This position is crucial within a global group of Java/polyglot developers responsible for the runtime of a proprietary build pipeline that supports the build, test, and deploy processes of some of the most critical business applications. The platform and its surrounding toolchain facilitate the production of binaries that integrate a proprietary front office language with the JVM ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enhance core SDLC platforms to improve throughput, latency, scalability, and resiliency.
• Collaborate with a team of high-caliber engineers to adopt new ideas and technologies.
• Manage library dependencies and upgrades, particularly for Python components.
• Contribute to the upgrade of core modules and assist in debugging and accelerating application development.
• Engage in potential IDE improvements and UI/UX enhancements.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in Java/Scala development.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Passionate about software development and eager to work on complex systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with build systems like Maven, Ant, Gradle, or Bazel.
• Familiarity with distributed and centralized software change management systems.
• Experience in architecting horizontally scalable systems and knowledge of elastic compute.
• Proficiency in DevOps, SRE, and Linux.
• Python knowledge is beneficial.
