Financial Operations - Payroll & Travel/Expenses
Job Description:
Our Client is seeking a Travel and Expense Lead to join their Global Service Finance Department.
The primary goal of this role is to enable operational effectiveness through close collaboration with stakeholders and the delivery of strategic operational processes that ensure consistent, efficient, and standardized service delivery across the region.
This role will lead Travel & Expense (T&E) operations in over 20 countries. The successful candidate will be responsible for performance monitoring, process improvement, automation, and continuous development of T&E operations. You will serve as a business partner and copilot, maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including upstream/downstream teams and third-party partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Partner Driving Operational Effectiveness
Guide business partners and monitor performance across T&E processes in Europe.
Maintain oversight of accuracy and operational health in T&E functions.
Analyze scorecard results and collaborate with leadership to ensure delivery of business goals.
Ensure collaboration between the T&E Hub team and local stakeholders to drive improvements and reduce aged balances.
Team Management (Offshore Collaboration)
Drive results through offshore teams without direct reporting lines.
Provide coaching aligned with the company's culture and shared service leadership principles.
Continuous Improvement
Develop, align, and implement the T&E EU roadmap in collaboration with the Global Process Owner (GPO).
Controls & Governance
Promote sustainable compliance in Financial Operations.
Review and approve controls for overall process integrity within the T&E function.
Candidate Profile:
University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
5+ years of experience in finance/accounting roles (preferably P2P).
Experience with process improvement initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.
Knowledge of Lean Principles is a plus.
Proven ability to navigate complex or ambiguous business situations.
Previous experience in Financial Operations Management.
Strong stakeholder and supplier relationship management.
Solid understanding of the procure-to-pay process.
Fluent English (minimum C1 level).
