Position Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced AP Operations Leader to oversee the Accounts Payable function across North America. The role is focused on driving standardization, partnering with internal and external stakeholders, leading process improvements, and ensuring high-quality financial service delivery in a complex, international environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the invoice-to-pay process, including payments, logistics exception handling, and vendor master data.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs, SLAs) and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
Collaborate with offshore delivery teams (without direct reporting lines), providing coaching and promoting company culture and leadership behaviors.
Initiate and implement projects related to automation, standardization, and process improvements.
Act as the main point of contact for internal and external audits; ensure compliance with financial controls and identify process risks.
Support finance transformation initiatives and segment-specific projects.
Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (MBA or CPA preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or financial process management in an international setting.
Proven track record of implementing process improvements and managing change.
Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and collaborate with global teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
