About the Client
Our Client is a global organization operating in the pet nutrition and pet care sector. The company provides high-quality nutritional solutions for companion animals, develops veterinary, diagnostic and health-related services, and operates across numerous international markets. Due to ongoing transformation within the finance and controllership area, the Client is currently seeking a Cluster Controller.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure accurate accounting, healthy balance sheets and P&L results for the markets within the Cluster, in close collaboration with MGSF and reporting analysts
Deliver timely, complete and compliant financial information aligned with internal and external reporting requirements
Oversee the internal controls framework, including control execution and testing plans, and co-drive the governance and control agenda with key finance leadership
Foster strong collaboration across finance teams (MGSF / Financial Operations, CoEs, Finance Directors, Business Partners, FP&A) and non-finance functions such as Sales and MS&D
Act as an ambassador for controls, ensuring employees feel informed, supported and empowered to work within a trusted and safe control environment
Cascade global policies and financial processes across the Cluster, acting as a champion of quality and consistency
Requirements:
University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
Strong professional experience in accounting, controlling or financial reporting
Hands-on experience with SAP or another ERP system
Solid understanding of US GAAP, internal controls and regulatory reporting requirements
Updated knowledge of accounting regulations, including Mars GAAP and the Client’s internal policies
Digitally savvy, with a solution-oriented mindset and strong analytical approach
Fluent English; German language skills are a strong advantage
Competencies: action-oriented, clear communication, sound decision-making, accountability, trust-building, ability to manage complexity, process optimization
