The Opportunity

Are you a strategic supply chain strategist with a passion for operational execution? We are seeking a high-caliber Logistics Leader – EMEA to direct, elevate, and transform logistics operations across the EMEA region.

In this senior leadership role, you will take full regional accountability for transportation execution, 3PL performance management, and total cost optimization. Based at the European headquarters in Belgium, part of your role will strictly require working directly on-site to closely collaborate with regional leadership, mentor local teams, and maintain strong operational oversight, combined with standard regional travel as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Regional Leadership: Drive execution of global logistics strategy within EMEA, managing annual operating budgets, resource allocation, and long-term supply chain initiatives.

• 3PL & Partner Management: Direct day-to-day operations with 3PLs, freight forwarders, and transportation partners to ensure speed, dependability, cost efficiency, and service excellence.

• Operational Performance & Execution: Oversee regional KPIs, conduct root-cause analysis on operational gaps, and implement immediate corrective action plans to maintain continuous improvement.

• Talent Development: Coach and mentor a high-performing regional team, setting developmental goals and strengthening overall EMEA supply chain capabilities.

• Systems & Process Optimization: Champion Lean methodologies and functional excellence using advanced systems (TMS, WMS, YMS, Oracle) and common tools across business units.

• Trade Compliance & Governance: Partner with global trade teams to ensure compliance with international import/export guidelines, sanctions, and regulatory requirements.

What We Are Looking For

• Location Requirements: Ability and willingness to work on-site at the headquarters in Belgium as a mandatory part of the schedule.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Engineering (Master’s/MBA strongly preferred).

• Experience: 15+ years of overall industry experience (3PL, freight forwarding, operations), including 10+ years leading global or regional logistics operations.

• Regional Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience across EMEA logistics networks, third-party relationship management, and contract negotiations.

• Mode Expertise: Deep knowledge of international freight operations across parcel, ground, air, heavyweight, and ocean logistics.

• Tech Savvy: Strong familiarity with modern logistics enterprise software (TMS, WMS, YMS); knowledge of Oracle is a distinct advantage.
